The Live/Studio Recording of our Family Album.
Friends of Mysterytrain…
You are cordially invited to the PPG Pavilion on Feb 3-5th for the Live/Studio Recording of our first album.
We have had our most magical moments and amazing musical journeys at this location. Your support over the years has been unmeasurable. Therefore, we are inviting you, our Mysterytrain family, to hang out with us as we record our first live/studio album.
Our approach is simple. Play all weekend and capture everything!
A professional sound system and pro recording equipment will be set up for the entire weekend.
This is not a typical “show” or event! A chilled atmosphere with no performance pressure is what we are after. We may end up doing several takes if needed for some songs. And we will be learning new tunes on the spot. Saturday evening we will be playing a long late night set to finish off the weekend.
Music will be recorded, mixed, packaged up and released on several cd’s later in 2012 titled The Mysterytrain Family Album.
We will be having fun with video clips and talking several group pictures over the weekend as well.
We need album cover artwork! Front, several inside pages and back cover art designs will be created over the weekend. So, please bring art supplies if possible.
Tickets are $10. whether you arrive on friday or saturday.
One last thing, please bring hand drums for the late-late night recording.
